Chamber music project – My Virtual Ensemble
My Virtual Ensemble is a growing international network of professional musicians working together on chamber music projects. It was founded in March 2021 by Hamburg composer and woodwind player Mat Clasen. The idea behind it is to connect people across borders to lay the foundation for collaboration and friendship. Instrumental music transports no words and therefore no opinions. It is the one universal language for feelings that everyone understands immediately, regardless of origin, cultural background or personal beliefs. The projects in My Virtual Ensemble are non-profit, it is primarily about cooperation and music.
